Connection classes are designed to complement more fundamental and technical zouk movement training - connection spans a wide range of topics from quality of touch, creating ease and comfort in your dances, matching styles or finding flow with your partner, creating more ‘conversation’ in the dance through follow voice and lead attunement/listening, accessing various energies (e.g. air vs water), expanding musicality options, close embrace techniques, and more!

These classes will complement the Wednesday night classes by RDU Zouk, and therefore we request that participants have completed the beginner series and have familiarity with the basic footwork of zouk in order to take these classes. Feel free to DM if you have questions!

The intention is to have these classes 1-2 times a month on Saturday afternoons, although they will be pop-up and not on a super regular schedule. So keep an eye on the RDU Zouk Facebook page, or better yet ask for someone to add you to the RDU Zoukini Messenger chat to stay informed about new classes and events!
