Two of the most loved Zouk instructors are coming to the Raleigh/Durham (RDU) area for the first time!!! They are SO sweet and care a lot about small communities and their growth. You guys know a big part of who I choose to come teach for us , is having a big heart, passion for zouk, and a sweet spot for smaller communities. They hit all the boxes and are wonderful dancers and instructors. BEGINNERS WELCOME!

*It’s a little further than GPS - look for Ronald Mcdonald parking sign, we are in building on right side on SECOND floor*

Park on the **right side** of the parking lot downhill from the meetinghouse is fair game, however, please refrain from parking on the left. It is for Ronald McDonald House staff and guests. The small DFM Lot to the right in front of the little meetinghouse close to Alexander Ave is small but also fair game. The Duke Security Lot that is directly across the street from DFM is also fair game unless a specific parking spot says otherwise. DO NOT PARK in the lot downhill from the Duke Security Lot, beside the Episcopal Student Center. Also DO NOT PARK in the lot near the Campus Security Office which fronts on Oregon St. It is at the far end of the lot beside the Episcopal Center.

There is also some street parking available.

A little about Nhat & Gigi:

Nhat and Gigi are zouk teachers from Austin, Texas with over six years of teaching experience. Throughout their teaching journey, Nhat has completed a teacher training workshop with Bruno Galhardo focusing on the pedagogy of zouk, and Gigi has completed Renata Peçanha's Traditional Brazilian Zouk Teacher Training Program. In 2018, Nhat and Gigi also became part of their teachers’, William Teixeira and Paloma Alves, professional zouk company, WT Company, and are currently studying under them. They also train with Rafael, Izabel, Marck and Melyssa to continue their professional development.

Nhat and Gigi invest in traveling to Brazil and throughout North America to learn from the best Brazilian Zouk professionals in the world and believe in life-long learning. They are passionate about growing and nurturing the zouk community in Austin and beyond. They have taught zouk workshops internationally at Ramalhos Zouk Festival 2018, Madrid Zouk Bachata Congress 2019-2022 and Canada Zouk Congress 2022 and started their own zouk program along with Richelle Crotty in 2018 at Dance International 2018-2020. They are currently teaching weekly Zouk series classes at Body Collective. Nhat and Gigi also founded the first zouk-only monthly social in Austin, Brazilian Beats Zouk Social.
